Do you have a hairy waist? Nothing to be ashamed of – But should it not be warm enough under its layer of downy fur – here’s a little coat for it. The Hairy Waist Coat will not only cover your waist but it will also cover your shoulders. Your hairy pits and your hairy arms will have to fend for themselves though – for that I would recommend sleeves.

Speaking of waists or rather waste… this one is a waste not want not kind of waistcoat as it’s made from vintage quilts. HURRAH. And what’s more is its buckled up with a nice old leathery buckle. Terrific.

Where there’s a will there’s a waistcoat and where there’s a waistcoat there’s a whale of a time. You can quote me on that.

• Two buckles and frilly shoulders

• Material: linen-cotton blend, vintage tablecloth and quilt (any marks are a sign of its preloved life as a vintage textile, they should be at a minimum but please accept them as marks of history and character, much like Potter’s scar, connecting you to a bygone era / Voldermort’s unhinged mind…)

• Size shown is a size small /Medium, UK 8-12

• Measurements:

  Armpit to armpit (across the front): 17 inches

  Shoulder to shoulder (across the back): 13 inches

  Length (front, top button to hem): 19 inches

• Boobs will be embroidered wherever I see fit…

  CARE

• Wash no higher than 30 degrees and iron, or better yet don’t wash at all and save the planet by living like a street urchin.
