The No-Waste-Waistcoat

WASTE NOT WANT NOT. That’s what Shakespeare said so that’s what Hairy Mary doth. And whilst she’s not wasting, she’s also making waistcoats (whilst getting wasted but that’s a topic for another day). Here we have all the little remnants from Hairy’s other handmade garments patch-worked together and then turned into what one might call a wicked waistcoat suitable for people who have waists and hate waste.

DETAILS

• Three ties up the front, with frilly shoulders

• Material: linen-cotton blend, vintage tablecloth (any marks are a sign of its preloved life as a vintage textile, they should be at a minimum but please accept them as marks of history and character, much like Potter’s scar, connecting you to a bygone era / Voldermort’s unhinged mind…)

• Size shown is a size small / UK 8-10 (Model is a uk 8)

• Measurements:

  Armpit to armpit (across the front): 19 inches

  Length (front neck to hem): 15 inches

• 5% of profits goes to Maggie’s Centre charity

• Boobs will be embroidered wherever I see fit…

  CARE

• Wash no higher than 30 degrees and iron, or better yet don’t wash at all and save the planet by living like a street urchin.
