Now, I know what you’re all thinking, Mary Hinge… sounds a bit like… Hairy…..M… Mary, but in reverse and with a slightly different second word, right? That’s what you’re thinking isn’t it - nothing to do with a well known spoonerism that might refer to ones… ANYWAY.
This Mary Hinge Skirt will wrap nicely around one’s hairy minge (ohhh well the cat’s out the bag now) and buckle up at the side, back or front, no need to follow convention with this one - just wear it as you like it - man or woman, Mary or Derry and be a right Merry Hinge when doing it!
This garment is one-of-a-kind. The one photographed above gives you a clear indication of the structure and design of the garment, including its features, charms, buckles, kilt pins, hair etc and their placement. It is NOT the EXACT item you will receive due to the recycled and vintage textiles Hairy uses but she will do her damnedest to make you something very similar and wickedly unique. Composed of vintage embroidered tablecloth (any marks are a sign of its preloved life as a vintage textile, they should be at a minimum but please accept them as marks of history and character, much like Potter’s scar, connecting you to a bygone era / Voldermort’s unhinged mind…)

Measurements are approx:
This skirt is designed to have c. 2 inches of range around the waist due to the buckles
Small: waist 30 - 32 inches
Medium: waist 32 - 34 inches
Large: waist 34 - 36 inchesLength around 20-24 inches (specify if you want a specific length)

Because of the leather buckles here Hairy recommends a hand wash or dry clean, please.
Do not tumble dry. Iron on a medium/high heat to keep those pleats in line.
