Ladies and gentlemen, me lords and mi ladies, brothers and lovers, sisters and kissed’hers - can we all please put our hands together and give a warm welcome to the latest habiliment to come out of the Willie Wanker factory! It’s the Hairy Tutu! And it’s the Tutu for YouYou.

Now we had a think tank / round table discussion / Annual General Meeting to vote on the name for this poofy little bugger and Hairy Tutu was what came out… but not before “Give me eyelets in my waistband, keep me burning” and “Once bitten Tutu shy” got a lot of air time. Anyway, more about the skirt, it’s a tutu, it’s got ties, tie it up front side or back and off you go. 

DETAILS

• Two ties up the side or front or wherever you want to tie them (giving adjustment to size)

• Material: Vintage embroidered net tablecloth and metal eyelets (any marks are a sign of its preloved life as a vintage textile, they should be at a minimum but please accept them as marks of history and character, much like Potter’s scar, connecting you to a bygone era/Voldermort’s unhinged mind…)

• Measurements: Waist - 35 inches (at tightest, designed to be worn on the hips); length - 30 inches (Model is a UK 8 and this was too big for her…)

• SOUND TOO BIG? Get in touch and Hairy can make it smaller for you.

• 5% of profits goes to Maggie’s Centre charity

• Boobs will be embroidered wherever I see fit…

  CARE

• Wash no higher than 30 degrees and iron, or better yet don’t wash at all and save the planet by living like a street urchin. In fact because of the metal here I’d recommend a cold wash or hand wash, please.
